Colombia is the third largest coffee exporter in the world. The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia and especially Minca, its ecological capital, has been recognized for its coffee and the quality of its cocoa. But, how much do we know about its preparations and how to taste a good coffee?
In our coffee house Casa Tribu of the Casa Loma hotel we invite you to live an experience to know and learn about its attributes and other local beverages.
After trying one of our methods, the experience of drinking coffee is transformed and becomes a ritual of its own. Knowing and highlighting concepts such as aroma, fragrance, body and flavor. Differentiate, through the preparation, the acidity, sweetness, bitterness and different flavor notes in our coffee from the Sierra Nevada.
We have Arabica coffee varieties such as Castilla and Caturra, from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, cultivated by coffee growers and families of the region at 800 meters above sea level, which gives special attributes to our coffee bathed by the water of the Caribbean Sea.

During your visit, you can start with a meditation practice, continue with a yoga class led by teachers from different regions of the world. Then you will live a coffee tasting experience and the discovery of coffee preparations in different methods (such as the V60 dripper, Chemex, Japanese Siphon, Aeropress, French Press, Vietnamese Press, Ibrik or Turkish method, among other preparations). Our coffee expert barista will introduce you to a ritual that shows the different properties of coffee and the different cup profiles we achieve.
Casa Tribu’s space, located in the Hotel Casa Loma, has a unique space for meditation, classes of different types of yoga. But we also offer a large Coworking space with wifi and an incredible view of the Sierra Nevada mountains. From our bar you can enjoy preparations such as juices based on fruit and vegetable extracts, slushies, cappuccino, aromatic and infusions with native plants of the region.
All designed for you to live a real experience around a good traditional drink in the company of your friends or family in a natural environment with an incredible view.

En nuestro cafe Casa Tribu del hotel Casa Loma te invitamos a vivir una experiencia para conocer y aprender acerca de sus atributos y otras bebidas locales.
Después de probar alguno de nuestros métodos, la experiencia de tomar café se transforma y se convierte en un ritual propio. Conocer y destacar conceptos como aroma, fragancia, cuerpo y sabor. Diferenciar, mediante la preparación, la acidez, el dulzor, el amargo y las diferentes notas de sabores en nuestro café de la sierra Nevada.
Contamos con un café arábigo de variedades como Castilla y caturra, de origen de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta cultivado por caficultores y familias de la region a 800 msnm lo cual le da atributos especiales a nuestro cafe bañado por el agua del mar caribe .
Reviviendo las pasiones, por disfrutar un buen cafe, por el paisaje, por la buena vida.
Durante su visita, podrán comenzar con una practica de meditación, continuar con una clase de yoga orientada por profesoras de diferentes regiones del mundo. Luego podrán vivir una experiencia de coffee tasting y el descubrimiento de preparaciones de café en diferentes métodos (como el driper V60, el Chemex, Siphon japones, Aeropress, Prensa Francesa, prensa vietnamita, Ibrik o método turco, entre otras preparaciones). Nuestro barista experto en café les introducirá en un ritual que muestra las diferentes propiedades del café y los diferentes perfiles de taza que logramos.
El espacio de Casa Tribu, ubicado en el Hotel Casa Loma, cuenta con un espacio único para meditación, clases de diferentes tipos de yoga. Pero también ofrecemos un amplio espacio para Coworking con wifi y una vista increíble sobre las montañas de la Sierra Nevada. Desde nuestra barra podrán disfrutar de preparaciones como jugos a base de extractos de frutas y verduras, granizados, capuchino, aromáticas e infusiones con plantas nativas de la región.
Todo pensado para que vivas una verdadera experiencia en torno a una buena bebida tradicional en compañía de tus amigos o familiares en un entorno natural con una vista increíble.
